Norsk Ordbok - nasjonalverket i mål

Sammendrag

Norsk Ordbok (Dictionary of Nynorsk and Norwegian dialects)

is now complete. The publication of the last volume in 2016 is a

milestone in the history of Norwegian language and culture. The

current article comments the twelfth and last volume of the dictionary

as well as a festschrift in honour of the project at the occasion

of celebrating the completion. The festschrift includes an

historical account of the editorial work since 1930.
