Sammendrag
Cecilie Basberg Neumann har skrevet bogen Det bekymrede blikket - En studie av helsesøstrenes handlingsbetingelser (Novus Forlag, 2009) på baggrund af sin doktorafhandling fra Institut for kriminologi og rettssosiologi ved Oslo Universitet 2007. Hendes udgangspunkt for afhandlingen var at skaffe viden om mishandling af børn. Helsesøstrene1 i Norge har kontakt med alle børn fra fødslen, idet barnet har lovmæssig ret til løbende at blive tilset af en helsesøster på en helsestation, derfor formodede Neumann, at de måtte have viden om børnemishandling. Denne formodning understøttes af, at det tillige er en del af helsesøstrenes mange arbejdsopgaver at opdage og indberette overgreb mod børn. Det første arbejdsspørgsmål var således: Hva oppdager helsesøstre av barnemishandling, og hva gjør de med det de ser?
