Sammendrag
Landbruk er et gammelt sosiologisk forskningsfelt. Blant de sosiologiske pionérene som studerte sider ved landbruk finner vi Tocqueville, Martineau, Weber, Sundt, Thomas og Znaniecki. De tidlige bidragene tok blant annet for seg bønders levekår, eiendomsforhold, lovgivning og migrasjon. Disse temaene er også aktuelle i dag, når landbruk i tillegg settes i sammenheng med globale utfordringer, som helse, fattigdom, energi, matforsyning, miljø og klima. I dette nummeret har vi vært spesielt interessert i å synliggjøre hvordan dagens sosiologer studerer landbruket. Artiklene er eksempler på hvordan sosiologiske perspektiver bidrar til å forstå sider ved landbruk, både empirisk, metodisk og teoretisk. Dessuten knyttes de sammen ved at de tematisk omhandler det norske landbruket.Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
