Or is Foucault just an important thinker whose thought belongs to an academic arena, as part of the intellectual history of a far past, in a period where intellectuals no longer seem to adopt positions such as Sartre's, for instance, after World War II; and where they eventually write political essays but stay away from practical engagementÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â€Âš?
