Artiklene i dette nummeret av Sosiologi i dag handler om vold, tre av dem om vold i krig og en om vold mot homofile. Dette er interessant og opprivende lesning som minner oss om at svar på vanskelige spørsmål om relasjonen mellom offer og overgriper ofte er komplekse og sammensatte. Vi må fokusere på vold for å kunne forebygge voldshandlinger, men også fordi vi trenger forskning som forholder seg analytisk og kritisk til sitt studieobjekt, og ikke overdriver omfanget og grovheten av voldshandlinger. Forfatterne av artikkelen om vold mot homofil ungdom advarer mot nettopp dette.Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
